Enjoying Science Week with activities across the curriculum

Last week saw us Making Connections in British Science Week. Science lessons focussed on how we and other species use light and sound to communicate with each other and across the curriculum teachers highlighted the part communication plays in their subjects too.

Students had the opportunity to enter the British Science Week Poster Competition, creating a poster showing their personal experience of connections or how connections impact the world around us and we judged our own Carrington winners of those that entered.

We also held a Science Scavenger Hunt around school with students finding clues and completing tasks with the first three back winning a prize.

Well done to all the winners who received a certificate and Easter egg from Mr Shah.
