This term, some of our students had the opportunity to visit the University of Surrey, all thanks to the Surrey Stars initiative!

Year 10 students attended Maths and English Revision Conferences on campus which were a brilliant opportunity to experience university life while receiving top tips from subject specialists. Through targeted workshops, students learned effective exam techniques and how to confidently tackle those all-important GCSE questions. The day was designed to boost confidence, sharpen skills, and support success in their upcoming exams.

Year 9 students also had the opportunity to visit the University for Biosciences Day. Students explored the university’s cutting-edge Biosciences facilities, took part in hands-on workshops, and had the chance to chat with current students and academic staff. It was a unique opportunity to discover the wide range of subjects and careers in the biosciences field, all while getting a real feel for life at university.
