Winning Voices Visit Royal Albert Hall

7th November 2025

After winning the Choir of the Year competition with their amazing performance of “Counting Stars” (read more here), 7 Nightingale, along with some of our other talented musicians, enjoyed a truly unforgettable trip to the iconic Royal Albert Hall!

The day began with a fascinating tour of the Royal Albert Hall, where students explored the history and grandeur of one of the world’s most famous music venues. From the stunning architecture to the behind-the-scenes secrets, it was an experience to remember.

In the afternoon, the group settled in for the Future Makers performance, an annual live music event designed to inspire young people to write and create music. Talented musicians aged 14-19 from across the UK took to the stage, performing their own original songs in front of a panel of industry experts and an enthusiastic audience of Key Stage 2 and 3 students.

The stakes were high for the performers, who were competing for an incredible prize: a year of tailored music industry support to help launch their careers. It was inspiring for our students to see what passion and hard work can achieve - who knows, maybe one day we’ll see a Nightingale student up there too!
