On Friday, our BTEC dancers and some talented Year 9 dancers headed off to the MOVE IT Dance Show at the ExCeL Centre, and what a day they had! From workshops to performances to free goodies, the trip was packed with energy from start to finish.

The group spent the day exploring the huge exhibition halls, soaking up the atmosphere and watching incredible performances across the stages. Every time they stopped, there was something new to see - commercial, contemporary, hip‑hop and more. It was basically dance paradise!

The dancers didn’t just watch - they joined in! They took part in a fun disco dance class, complete with full‑on throwback moves, big smiles, and plenty of enthusiasm. Switching gears they took on an acro dance class, where they stretched, balanced, rolled, and flipped their way through some seriously impressive skills.

The students were brilliantly behaved, got stuck into everything, and represented the school with pride (and killer dance moves). They left buzzing with inspiration, new skills, and probably some aching muscles.
