Making a Splash at Mercers Lake
Our brand-new Year 7s kicked off their secondary school journey with a splash - literally! Over three separate days, students made their way to Mercers Lake for a fun-filled bonding experience designed to build friendships, confidence, and a whole lot of laughter.
Once lakeside, the students dove into a range of water activities - from paddleboarding to kayaking and sail boats. There was a nature walk round the lake and team building games on the shore that tested their communication, creativity, and courage. Whether they were balancing on boards or cheering each other on from the shore, the spirit of teamwork was everywhere.
It was the perfect way to welcome our new cohort and set the tone for a brilliant year ahead. Here’s to more adventures, more bonding, and a fantastic start to life at secondary school!
