Things are heating up in KS3 this half term as the Inter-Tutor Sports Competition gets underway - and it’s all kicking off with football! Each tutor group is going head-to-head in friendly (but competitive) matches, battling it out to earn points for their tutor group.

The competition will continue with football after half term, with all the points earned being added to the grand total that feeds into the all-important Sports Day scores. So even if your tutor group isn’t smashing it on the pitch, there’s still everything to play for.

And the competition doesn’t stop when we break up for summer - it’ll be back next academic year with even more sports, more action, and more chances to win.

So far, the leaderboard is starting to take shape:

• In Year 7, Austen, Barrow, Darwin and Hawking are tied for the top spot with 8 points each
• In Year 8, Austen and Turing are leading the charge with 10 points each
• In Year 9, Austen and Turing are also tied at the top with 15 points each
