Three days, two nights, and a few blisters later - our intrepid Year 11s successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Expedition in the beautiful Surrey Downs!

This year’s adventure was a little kinder on the toes and noses, with temperatures staying comfortably above freezing (thankfully no repeat of last year’s -2°C wake-up calls!). Spirits were high as students navigated their routes, cooked their own meals, and camped under the stars - all while carrying everything they needed on their backs.

The expedition tested resilience, teamwork, and map-reading skills and the group showed real determination and camaraderie throughout.

A huge well done to everyone who took part - and big thanks to the staff who supported the expedition.
