Carrington Dancers Do Us Proud!
13th June 2025
Carrington students lit up the stage at the East Surrey Dance Festival last week, held at the Chequer Mead Theatre in East Grinstead. With energy, talent, and some serious moves, our dancers truly did us proud!
Year 10 BTEC Dance students brought the house down with a powerful performance to What About Us by Pink. Their hard-hitting choreography and confident stage presence had the whole theatre buzzing.
Not to be outdone, our fabulous Year 9 dancers performed a stunning routine to I'm Not That Girl from the hit musical Wicked. Their expressive moves and storytelling wowed the audience and brought a touch of magic to the evening.
Carrington stood out as the only secondary school taking part in the Thursday performances at the festival; performing alongside local primary schools we made quite the impression! Both groups showed incredible dedication and professionalism, and it’s safe to say they left their mark on the festival.
A huge well done to all our dancers, we can’t wait to see what you do next!
