10s Take on Paris
2nd February 2026
Year 10 students who study Hospitality & Catering, Engineering, Textiles and Product Design swapped the classroom for croissants last week as they headed off on an inspiring trip to Paris.
Students took part in special seminars inside the Disney park which gave them a behind‑the‑scenes look at how Disney brings its magic to life through engineering, design, hospitality and creativity - but of course, it wasn’t all work - the group also enjoyed plenty of free time exploring both Disney parks!
As if Disney wasn’t enough, the group also managed to squeeze in some sightseeing around Paris. They visited the Arc de Triomphe, soaking up the atmosphere of the city, and made their way to the Eiffel Tower for that classic Paris photo moment. There were lots of tired feet by the end, but even more smiles.
Overall, it was an amazing trip full of learning, laughter and a lot of Disney magic. A huge thank you to the staff who organised it - and to the students for representing the school so brilliantly.
